Schedules & Maps

To use the network of Country Roads Transit (CRT) transportation services, there are only three things you need to know:

• where you are,
• where you are going,
• what time you need to be there. 

Country Roads Transit provides "deviated route" service along two (2) routes of travel – Elkins Loop North and Elkins Loop South. Both services run along a deviated fixed route of travel with timed stops throughout the routes. The Elkins Loops serve locations throughout the community, including apartment complexes, stores, restaurants, schools and health care facilities. If you are looking for a convenient and affordable transportation option in Elkins, Country Roads Transit has a ride for you.  

In addition, CRT offers “Route Deviation” service on both of these fixed routes. As part of this service, CRT will pick you up and drop you off at any location within ¾ mile of either fixed route. To receive this service you must call CRT and schedule a reservation one day in advance of your travel. The fare for a “route deviated” trip is twice the CRT base fare. To reserve a trip, please call the CRT offices at 304-636-6472 or toll free at 1-877-636-6472.  

For people who live outside of our service area who are unable to ride the deviated fixed route bus service, Country Roads Transit also operates “demand response” service for both Randolph and Upshur Counties whereby you can reserve travel to and from your home to any destination within either county.
