Fares and Rider Information

The one-way, cash fare to ride the Elkins Loop North or Elkins Loop South is $1.25 (effective August 4, 2008). This fare applies to all riders over the age of 5; children 5 years and younger ride for free. In addition, an unlimited, monthly ride pass can be purchased for $30 (effective August 4, 2008) at the Randolph County Senior Center located at 5th Street and Railroad Avenue in Elkins.

Operators can not make change so we ask that you have the exact fare ready when you board your CRT vehicle.

The fare to use Demand Response Service for Randolph County depends on the distance traveled. One-way fares (effective August 4, 2008) for service are as follows:

Within ¾ mile of "deviated route" service	$2.50
Within 15 miles of Elkins city limits	$3.75
Between 16 and 24 miles of Elkins city limits	$6.25
Farther than 25 miles from city limits (and still within Randolph County)	$10.00

The fare to use Demand Response Service for Upshur County depends on the distance traveled. One-way fares (effective August 4, 2008) for service are as follows:

Within Buckhannon city limits	$2.50
Within 15 miles of city limits	$3.75
Between 16 and 24 miles of city limits	$6.25
Farther than 25 miles from city limits (and still within Upshur County)	$10.00

Customers who purchase a CRT "deviated route" Monthly Pass can use that pass as $1.25 toward the fare on the Demand Response Service and pay the applicable difference with a cash drop in the vehicle fare box.
